Not only is it the largest marathon in Philadelphia, it ranks among the top-10 runs in all of the United States. Lined with iconic sights like the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the National Constitution Center, the course begins a mile from our hotel. It then winds through gorgeous views of the city as it traverses the Delaware River waterfront, passes through Fairmount Park, University City, and the historic district. Of course, runners are cheered on all the way by throngs of excited fans… about 60,000 of them to be precise! Whether you participate yourself, cheer on family and friends, or just want to be part of the action, it’s the perfect time to visit the City of Brotherly Love.
